The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) will present “OSHA Silica 2016 – What Does it Mean to Me?” on Friday, July 29, 2016, at 10:00 AM CDT, presented by iQ Power Tools.

On March 25, the US Secretary of Labor announced the new 2016 OSHA Silica Standard. The 1772 page document annotates the new acceptable standards for occupational exposure to respirable crystalline silica. These changes target a wide variety of industries, with the masonry industry right in the bullseye.

Silica can no longer fly free. Learn how to manage the dust on your job site and together we can win the war on dust.

This webinar will teach attendees:

  1. What changes have been made? - All 1772 pages summarized into 45 minutes.
  2. What impact will this have on the masonry industry? - Learn what is happening in the industry and how to use it to your advantage.
  3. How does this affect me? - Manage these changes to create efficiency and increase safety on your job site. Use the changes to grow your business and increase your bottom line.
Mason contractors registered for Masonry Certification will receive 1.00 credits in the Safety discipline upon completion of this course.

This webinar is free to all attendees. Register for “OSHA Silica 2016 – What Does it Mean to Me?” at www.masoncontractors.org/live.
