The benefits of lightweight block

By

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) will present Lightweight Block: The Sustainable Wall System on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at 10:00 AM CDT.

High performance lightweight concrete masonry units increase durability, improve energy performance and reduce a structure’s life cycle costs. In a sustainable environment, the quality and economy of lightweight block makes it the material of choice by building designers and mason contractors throughout the country today. Lightweight CMU maximizes the benefits of concrete masonry construction by providing transportation savings, faster installation, fewer ergonomic issues, greater fire ratings, better thermal performance, maximized R-value, increased structural benefits and more economical construction.

Mason contractors registered for Masonry Certification will receive 1.00 credits in the Masonry Products discipline upon completion of this course.

This webinar is free to all attendees. Register for Lightweight Block: The Sustainable Wall System at www.masoncontractors.org/live.
