MCAA Region C Skills Challenge results
Winners are invited to compete in Las Vegas
The MCAA Region C Masonry Skills Challenge went on November 10, 2012. 19 apprentices (8 first year, 5 second year and 6 third year) competed.
The first year finalist was Jeff Price, the second year finalist is Jeremiah Holland with Mosser Construction of Fremont, Ohio and the third year finalist is Noah Spray with Central Masonry in Ohio.
We had some generous donations from W.L. Tucker (brick), Marshalltown (tool bags and trowels), QUIKRETE (SPEC MIX), ESSROC (mortar and $300 sponsorship) and several other organizations that donated smaller items that we included in all the contestants’ gift bags.
All first place winners have been invited to compete in the Masonry Skills Challenge competition held at the MCAA Convention at World of Concrete/World of Masonry on February 6, 2013 in Las Vegas.
