Project Description

This project consisted of CMU back up with exterior and interior exposed solid 4” charcoal splitface and white seashell CMU. The seashell CMU wraps 80% of the exterior and 30% of the interior three story residence. One of the elevator shaft walls recessed to accommodate flush three forms panels underneath the stairwell and at the second floor. The exterior window sills were custom cut seashell CMU. The Northeast corner of the house comes to a V shape which requires meticulous mechanics and expertise to create the sharp angle return.
