Project Description

Perched on the edge of downtown Austin, Texas, overlooking beautiful Town Lake, is this gleaming example of contemporary and traditional masonry veneer. This structure rises thirteen stories above ground and dips two levels under finished grade. It incorporates more than one hundred fifteen thousand king-size brick, more than twenty thousand over-sized custom burnished and split-face CMU.

The parking levels, stairs, elevators, and site walls are flush with many, many more thousands of standard lightweight CMU. We worked in the development stages of this project for more than five years, and are well satisfied with the final outcome.

Austin's skyline has now been enhanced with the arrival of this bastion of retreat, only steps from downtown's hustle and bustle, but within sight of Texas' famous Hill Country.
