Project Description

Ingo’s Tasty Food The architecture and patio garden of Ingo’s Tasty Food creates a new pedestrian-friendly urban experience where good food, drink, music, and conversation mix is in abundance. Ingo’s form riffs on the circular geometrics found in its Arcadia neighborhoods mid-century modern landmarks, including: Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic concrete block 1952 David and Gladys Wright Residence on Rubicon, the long cherished 1965 Valley Bank on 44th Street and Camelback, and the modest but memorable drive-in restaurants that captured the car culture of the 1950s. The architecture celebrates the context and history of its place. At the core of Ingo’s carefully crafted iconic structure, the site plan is a playful composition of polychrome colored circular sandblasted concrete block walls.
