Project Description
Masonry is at the heart and soul of this project. The veneer is brick on CMU backup, with cast stone and custom CMU white banding contrasting. Scaffolding challenges abounded. For block work, frame scaffold was utilized; dampproofing used suspension scaffolding and a boatswain's chair; while veneer crews worked a climbing tower system. Coordination between systems was priority, with 504,000 SF of scaffolding at heights of more than sixty feet. Crews installed 180,000 grey CMU, 31,000 custom CMU, 5,100 SF of cast stone, and 1,000,000 modular brick. The crew reached ninety-six on-site employees. We completed this in approximately fifteen months.
