Kevin Ault, independent sales representative of BASF will present new technologies that will help meet LEED requirements and keep on budget. BASF has Building Envelope Insulation Systems and Insulating Air Barriers that are applied by spray technology. Competing against other wall systems on R-values and performance requires new thinking. These new products help the masonry industry be competitive when it comes to energy efficient and barrier controlled environments. Kevin has been representing air barrier systems for 6yrs. He has been through the ABAA certification class and currently represents BASF Walltite System and Henry’s Building Envelope Systems. Kevin will discuss all 3 air barrier systems and how those systems are applied, the differences between the systems and talk a little about what is being specified in the market and what to look for when a contractor gives you a proposal.
