MCAA and BIA Partner To Develop Masonry Wall Of Fame Award
Words: Dan KamysThe Mason Contractors Association of America and the Brick Industry Association are thrilled to announce a collaboration to create a new award that will recognize those who install masonry products. The Masonry Wall Of Fame Award will expand MASONRY Magazine’s popular interview series of the same name.Â
“We have been building a great relationship with BIA over the past few years, and the Masonry Wall Of Fame Award is a culmination of our work so far. It’s about time that the industry had an award specifically dedicated to recognizing those who spend their time ‘on the wall.’ These people are creating structures that will last forever,” said Jeff Buczkiewicz, MCAA President and CEO.Â
Masonry Wall Of Fame Award details, such as nomination, voting, and presentation specifics, are still being worked out. It’s expected that the Masonry Wall Of Fame Award will be presented by both groups during the World of Concrete starting in 2024.Â
