MCAA To Debut New Scoring App At World of Concrete 2020
Judges To Use App For MCAA's Skills Challenge and Fastest Trowel On The Block Competitions During MASONRY MADNESS

Algonquin, Ill., January 23, 2020 – The Mason
Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is excited to announce today’s rollout
of a digital scoring app, which will be used at The World of Concrete/Masonry
on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in the Bronze Lot during MASONRY MADNESS®, a
highlight of the conference.
“We are very excited to unveil this new
technology, which we developed to automate our scoring processes for our
Masonry Skills Challenge and Fastest Trowel on the Block competitions. It will
save over an hour in judging time and help to eliminate potential errors in the
scoring process,” said Jeff Buczkiewicz, President of the MCAA.
MCAA is proud to feature Sprint, the
association’s Member Perks Program cellphone provider, as part of the debut of
the technology. Sprint will be providing network access for judges through the
program. Judges will be issued Sonim XP8 Ultra Rugged smartphones—designed
specifically for use on jobsites—for use during scoring.
