The American Shotcrete Association (ASA) is pleased to announce the opening of their eighth annual ASA Outstanding Shotcrete Project Awards Program to recognize excellence and innovation in projects in which the application of shotcrete has played a significant role. Awards will be granted in six categories: Architecture, Infrastructure, International, Pool & Recreation, Rehabilitation & Repair, and Underground.

“ASA’s annual shotcrete project awards always provide an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the great versatility and numerous advantages of the shotcrete process for placing shotcrete” noted Joe Hutter, ASA President. “Last year’s awards program was the largest and most successful effort to date, and we are very excited about participation in the upcoming eight edition of this very important event for the shotcrete industry.”

Winners will be invited to receive their award and present their projects during ASA’s Annual Awards Banquet held in conjunction with the World of Concrete 2013. Winning projects for each category will also be published in ASA’s widely circulated Awards issue of Shotcrete magazine and also featured on ASA's website.
