MCAA Membership Renewal Words: Bob AbelIt’s that time of year again…and soon you’ll be receiving your July 2011 — June 2012 MCAA Membership renewal notices in the mail. I wanted to share a few thoughts with you as we look back on our past year’s achievements. In 2010-2011 we fought several key battles for our industry on behalf of the masons and had much success. For instance, we were successful in keeping masonry-built fireplaces out of the rewriting of the EPA’s New Source Performance Standard pertaining to emissions. We’ve also just added a brand new Members-Only Perks benefit that you’ll surely be hearing more about in the coming days ahead. And we continue to offer a wide variety of well attended, informational and educational webinar programs brought to you by our South of 40 group. I mention all of this just so you know how vitally important your support and membership are in the MCAA. These and many other association-led initiatives would not have been possible without your annual commitment. Yes, we’ve accomplished a lot but there is still so much more that needs to be done. Here are a couple of reminders to help make your renewing with us this year easy & hassle-free: We’ve made available the option of renewing your annual membership online (username and password required). Of course if you prefer you can still mail in your payment when the invoice arrives. We also have available again the option of scheduling 12 monthly installments to be automatically deducted from a business banking or credit account in order to cover the cost of your annual dues commitment.
