MMPC Launches Case Studies Digital Library

The Midwest Masonry Promotion Council has launched the new “CASE STUDIES DIGITAL LIBRARY” of masonry construction projects on its www.mmpc.info website.

“CASE STUDIES’ is a convenient online digital library of individual masonry construction projects that were built and supplied by MMPC masonry contractors, masonry producers and masonry suppliers.

Architects and other key decision makers in the design process can conveniently study successful masonry projects via a gallery of documentary photography, written project descriptions, and project data including the project team listing with “hot” links to MMPC member companies.

Multiple projects can be quickly accessed online via a research index that includes project name and location, architect, building type, masonry contractor company, material types and material suppliers amongst other “tags”.

Individual projects can also be downloaded directly from the www.mmpc.info website and printed out for reference or marketing efforts.

New and existing masonry construction projects are being added on a regular basis to the “CASE STUDIES” digital library in order to remain a growing resource for the design community.

The “CASE STUDIES” digital library can be accessed at www.mmpc.info along with design related resources on the “ARCHITECTS PAGE” and the MMPC “COST GUIDE” for installed masonry wall types.

MMPC staff and marketing advisory committee members worked closely with Tim O’Toole, the Director of Marketing and Information Technology for the Mason Contractors Association of America, who wrote the computer program for this one of a kind online research tool. Mr. O’Toole is also responsible for producing the organizations www.mmpc.info website with several other innovative features used in the promotion of unit masonry construction.

An abbreviated presentation of the new AIA program and the “CASE STUDIES” website feature will be shown at the February 25 joint MCMA/MC&MCA meeting.
