WASCO on TV

Words: Andy SneedAs you know, we recently began a new pilot program with SAM100, the country’s first commercial masonry robot. Working with its creators, we’re helping determine the robot’s best uses in the field, as well as potential future improvements.

We’re excited to continue being at the forefront of our industry, blazing the masonry trail like we’ve been doing for half a century. In fact, we just celebrated our 50th Anniversary. Check out the photos from our party here.

SAM’s biggest job yet for us is the Welch College Campus project we’re working on up in Gallatin, TN. The robot’s been a pretty big help to our guys at the worksite so far, shouldering some of the strain for our masons and workers.

When WSMV found out about what we were doing with SAM, they asked to interview us about the new technology and how it’s being used here in Nashville.

We happily obliged and were featured on Ch. 4’s evening news segment “Bulger’s Beat” with Terry Bulger.

Our very own Joe Jolley gives one heck of an interview.

Check it out here and on our Facebook page. Don’t forget to like our page for news and class updates!
