2013 SAIA Annual Convention & Exposition Call for Speakers

Words: Laurie WeberThe Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA) announced its “Call for Speakers” for the 2013 Annual Convention & Exposition, the most important scaffold & access event that will be held in Nashville, Tenn., July 21- 24, 2013.

The Call for Speakers focuses on 11+ sessions targeting some of the hottest topics in scaffold & access today, and in the future. These sessions will cover a diverse span of industry topics.
Speaker proposals will be accepted through 5 p.m. CST, February 8, 2013. Proposals should be submitted online at: www.saiaonline.org/Content.asp?ID=97.

“We are looking for fresh and innovative programming in 2013,” said Marty Coughlin, SAIA President. “There is a variety of participates that attend the convention. Any information that will help global leaders in scaffold & access succeed in all aspects of their careers will be considered. This is not limited to manufacturers, sellers, renters, erectors, users, educators, laborers, safety professionals or attorneys,” Coughlin said.

Potential ideas for submittals include: economic forecast data; new or current engineering or equipment applications or technologies; visionary concepts in leadership development; industry leaders; marketing communications, public relations or social media best practices, ideas or visionary concepts; top scaffold & access projects, both national and international; rescue techniques; sales planning; employee relations; negotiation practices; and inventory control practices, to name a few. The SAIA will consider a wide range of presentation formats including workshops, panel discussions and roundtable discussions.
