MASONRY FILL
A new 4-page folder discusses vermiculite masonry fill insulation for block and cavity walls, gives tables of "U" values for various construction units, and has on-the-job installation photographs.
One picture shows a hopper with metal knives that slit a 4 cubic foot bag of vermiculite lengthwise, allowing the granules to pour instantly into the wall. Only 18 seconds were needed to insulate 20 sq. ft. of 2 inch cavity wall with the hopper, a time study showed.

Another Clipper innovation is a Collar Saver-Arbor Protector which eliminates worn blade collars, subsequent diamond blade damage, and premature blade shaft and collar assembly wear.
In addition both Clipper models come equipped with an Adjustable Blade Pressure Equalizer Spring that automatically cushions blades against shock, protects the blade every time a cut is made, greatly lengthening blade life.
A new design in Conveyor carts offers a vulcanized rubber top which withstands scraping, gouging, and cutting. The sturdy underside of the cart is constructed of special aluminum alloy.
