2015 Brick in Architecture Awards honor stellar design

Words: Lorelei HarloeNine Best in Class winners lead the 2015 Brick in Architecture Awards, eclipsing formidable competition with more than 115 entries. The Brick Industry Association’s (BIA) premier awards honor outstanding, innovative and sustainable architecture that incorporates clay brick products as the predominant exterior building or paving material.

BIA’s photo gallery features the 46 winning projects from 21 states in all categories: Best in Class, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

"Fired clay brick is an abundant natural resource that offers architects the aesthetic flexibility to inspire stellar and sustainable design,” said Ray Leonhard, BIA president and CEO.
