This improvement integrates an insect barrier with the mortar collection device that has been supplied by Mortar Net for more than 20 years in the unique dovetail shape and eco‐green color. The insect barrier is a water-permeable material that allows Mortar Net to drain as effectively as it always has, while hindering insect penetration into the cavity of a masonry wall.

Mortar Net USA Ltd., a producer of moisture management solutions for the masonry industry, has received a patent for its Mortar Net mortar collection device.
