Attendees of the 2011 MCAA Midyear Meeting spent a day at the Enchanted Springs Ranch in San Antonio.
The 2011 MCAA Midyear Meeting was held last week in San Antonio, Texas. Attendees were able to participate in fun and educational events throughout the week, while taking in the beautiful sights of the Texas Hill Country.

Throughout the week attendees were able to attend numerous meetings to help shape the future of the masonry industry including various MCAA Committee Meetings. Several networking events were also held during the week for guests to say hello to old friends and make new connections.

Three premium educational programs aimed at improving a mason contractor’s bottom line were held at the Midyear Meeting, including: Forming Peer Groups, Shifting from Mason Contractor to Brand Builder, and Increasing Production.

Mason contractors from around the country joined special celebrity guest and former Dallas Cowboy, Jay Novacek, for a relaxing afternoon of golf on The Palmer Course at La Cantera, designed by the master himself, Arnold Palmer. All proceeds from the event support MAC PAC/PEC and will be used to help elect federal candidates to office who are pro-construction and to fight legislation negatively affecting mason contractors.

The Midyear Meeting wrapped-up on Friday with a day at the Enchanted Springs Ranch, an eighty-six acre working ranch with rugged, natural beauty, exotic animals, and real live cowboys and cowgirls. Attendees enjoyed authentic cowboy meals, along with some great activities including a tractor wagon ride, cow pie throwing contests, gun draw competitions, dancing, and plenty of surprises for everyone!
