Nominations are now open for the 2022 Safety Advantage Awards Presented By Federated Insurance. The awards are given out each year to those who submit the lowest incident rates for their respective companies.

To calculate incident rates: multiply the number of injuries and illnesses on OSHA Form 300 by 200,000 and then divide by the total number of hours worked by all employees in the year. The top two companies who worked less than 100,000 hours will be recognized, and so will the top two companies who worked more than 100,000 hours.

Submissions will remain open until midnight on April 1, 2022. This awards program is only open to MCAA member companies. Awards will be given out on August 17 during the MCAA Midyear Meeting.
