In response to the World of Concrete 2021's shift to June, the MCAA is pleased to announce the 2021 MCAA Annual Meeting. Set at the South Seas Island Resort in Captiva, Florida, the picturesque backdrop will serve as host to the masonry industry. The meeting is scheduled to run from Sunday, February 7th and conclude on Wednesday, February 10th.

Among highlights for this unique opportunity are the rollout of a new Foreman Development Course and the filming of MASONRY STRONG Live, a social series event.

Foreman Development Course
Instructors: Tom Vacala, Jameel Ervin, Danks Burton and Donnie Williams
Rebuilt from the ground up, the Foreman Development Course was developed by industry professionals, who put their decades of experience and knowledge into one eight-hour course. The class will focus on the role of a foreman for both new and potential candidates. This class, which is the first of two parts, is intended as a beginner course. The second portion of this course, Foreman 202, will be held for the first time at the January 2022 World of Concrete.

MASONRY STRONG Live
Shot in front a live audience attending the MCAA Annual Meeting in Captiva, Florida, MASONRY STRONG Live is a two-hour social show consisting of 10 educational sessions mixed with advice from legendary mason contractors sharing their wisdom. Following the live shoot, the show will be broadcast on the MCAA Facebook and YouTube channels which total over 50,000 followers. Session topics include: productivity, installation, technology, restoration, materials, and more!

More information regarding the live filming and broadcast will become available on the upcoming MASONRY STRONG website (masonrystrong.com) and at annualmeeting.masoncontractors.org.
