A new Gehl skid loader was delivered to the grounds of University Wisconsin-Washington County, in West Bend Wisconsin as a donation from Manitou Americas, Inc.

“We are proud to be able to assist the University Wisconsin-Washington County with a new Gehl 5240E Power2 skid loader,” said Dan Miller, CEO Manitou Americas, Inc. “With a history in West Bend dating back to 1859, Gehl is honored to be affiliated with UWWC. Our hard- working, versatile loader will keep the grounds at UWWC operational as it continues to educate the members of our community.”

The Gehl skid loader is used on the premises to do multiple landscape projects on the grounds of the University. Projects that are used with the skid loader include haul and spread mulch, dig out stumps, clear snow from parking lots and sidewalks and to unload heavy pallet loads.

“We at UW-Washington County very much appreciate the donation of the skid loader,” says Paul Price, University Wisconsin — Washington County Dean. “This compact, but powerful tool allows us to maintain the campus with a smaller staff and at lower cost. It is also a concrete demonstration of the significance Gehl places on education in West Bend and Washington County. We thank Dan Miller and Gehl for their continued support.”
