North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association's (NCMCA) Golf Chairman, David McQueen, announced the winners of the 14th Annual NCMCA State Golf Tournament on Sept. 28 at Mill Creek Golf Club in Mebane, N.C.

The Whitman Masonry team of Doug Burton, Ken Armistead, George Openshaw and Dick Moehring finished second. Also, Tim Manning was recognized for closest to the pin, and Benjamin Glover had the longest drive. Unfortunately, the Arrow Equipment Lull forklift hole-in-one prize again went unclaimed.

Lafarge North America provided a chicken barbeque dinner after play.

Proceeds from the tournament help to fund various NCMCA promotional and training projects, and specifically, the Sigmon Memorial Scholarship masonry design competition at the N.C. State University College of Design.
