MCAA President and CEO Jeff Buczkiewicz To Testify To Congress On AI

On February 11, 2026, Jeff Buczkiewicz, President and CEO of the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA), will testify before the House Subcommittee on Workforce Protections. Representing a $41 billion industry, Buczkiewicz plans to showcase GEORGE, a purpose-built AI system developed over four years to enhance jobsite safety. His testimony highlights how technology can proactively monitor safety on the job site, including: monitoring PPE use, calculating complex wall bracing requirements, and assisting in historic restorations. By integrating AI, VR, and LiDAR, Buczkiewicz aims to protect workers, attract younger generations to the trades, and improve safety and productivity for the industry like never before.
