Thank You To Our Mason Contractor Members

Words: Jeff Buczkiewicz

Every decision we make at the MCAA starts with one question: How does this serve our members?

You're the reason we have existed for 75 years. The work you do, the businesses you build, the careers you create, that's what we're here to support. Everything else is secondary.

In 2025, we began the evolution of our mission.

The Dignity Act is nearly across the finish line. This legislation will finally address the immigration issue in a bipartisan and fair way. It's been years in the making, and we're almost there because of the collective voice of this membership.

The MCAA became part of the White House AI In Education Task Force. We're sitting at the table with the biggest technology companies in the world, representing the masonry industry in conversations that will shape the future of skilled trades training. That seat exists because of the credibility you've given us.

We've continued developing GEORGE AI and the technology tools that make your businesses more efficient. Wall bracing calculations that used to take 20 minutes now take 30 seconds. Spanish translations happen instantly. Productivity analysis that required a PhD is now accessible to everyone. We built these tools for you.

We opened our second headquarters in Florida, dedicated entirely to outreach and education. Over the next few years, we're opening five regional offices across the country. This infrastructure exists to solve the workforce challenge you face every single day. We're going into schools, connecting with the next generation, and building pathways into this trade.

In 2026, we're launching the MASONRY STRONG Network. This is how we're modernizing how we communicate with you and the entire industry. Multiple shows. Regular content. Meeting you and the next generation where you are, with what you need, when you need it.

And this September, we're gathering in San Antonio for our Midyear Meeting. It's always one of my favorite times of the year because I get to see many of you face to face, hear what's working, and collaborate on how to build the future.

Here's what I want you to know.

Every initiative we launch, every tool we build, every partnership we form, it's in service of you. Your success is our success. Your challenges are our challenges.

To those of you who are members of the MCAA: thank you. Your trust and your feedback have shaped everything we've become. To those considering joining us: we'd welcome you. This industry is stronger when we work together, and we'd be honored to serve you.

The new era has begun, and we’re both excited and ready for that responsibility.

Thank you.
