Westlake Royal Building Products™ Celebrates Multiple Wins in NAHB’s The Nationals Awards

The Nationals is one of the building industry's most prestigious awards programs, recognizing the best in new home sales, marketing and design. During a rigorous four-day judging process, the winners were selected from more than 1,200 entries by a panel of 13 industry experts. The awards were officially presented in early 2025 during a ceremony at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.

Westlake Royal building materials were featured in three award-winning projects by KTGY, a design firm specializing in architecture, branding, interiors and planning. These projects are located in the Shawood at Sommers Bend neighborhood in Temecula, California:

  • Gold Award for Detached Community of the Year: Shawood at Sommers Bend featuring Newpoint Concrete Saxony 900 Slate in the color Appalachian.

  • Gold Award for Best Single Family Detached Model Home (3,501 to 4,000 square feet): Shawood at Sommers Bend Kiri Plan 3 featuring Eldorado Stone European Ledge in the color Ironmill and Newpoint Concrete Saxony 900 Slate in the color Sepia.

  • Silver Award: Shawood at Sommers Bend Sakura Plan 7 featuring Newpoint Concrete Saxony 900 Slate in the color Ebony.
