Announcing The MASONRY STRONG Podcast

Words: Dan Kamys

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is thrilled to announce the launch of the MASONRY STRONG Podcast, which is set to premiere in late 2024. This short-form podcast focuses on the people of the industry and their stories. While the $33 billion masonry industry is the common thread connecting all the individuals, it will not be the main focus of the program.

“We’ve toyed with the idea of a podcast for years, and we wanted to make sure our show would be something different. The MASONRY STRONG Podcast draws its inspiration from media like Lucille Ball’s old short-form radio show and Conan O’Brien’s podcast. Masonry is what brings each guest to our table, but each conversation will be wildly different, fun, and show the human side of the industry,” said Dan Kamys, MCAA Director of Content.

The first set of episodes will be shot during the MCAA’s Midyear Meeting in Park City, Utah in late August and premiere on all major platforms shortly after. A second set of episodes will be shot during the MCAA Convention at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas in January 2025. Industry suppliers in the top tiers of the Masonry Alliance Program can also expect MASONRY STRONG Podcast involvement as part of the 2025 suite of benefits.

“I’m really excited to help kick off this new era of MCAA content with the MASONRY STRONG Podcast. Being relatively new to the industry, this will be a great opportunity for me to get to know everyone. I can’t wait to start recording,” said Justin Stengel, MCAA’s Content Developer and host of MASONRY STRONG
