Best Block® Moves From Silver To Gold Tier In The Masonry Alliance Program

Words: Isa Stein

Best Block, a national provider of concrete masonry, will move from the MCAA’s Masonry Alliance Program’s Silver Tier to the higher Gold Tier for the 2024 calendar year. As part of this commitment, Best Block becomes one of just 70 companies to receive unparalleled access to the $33 billion masonry industry.

“Supporting the MCAA is good for the industry and its members, including Best Block and our sister companies Spec Mix® and Quikrete®,” stated Justin Meyer, Vice President, Masonry Sales for Best Block. “Our efforts, including support of The Fastest Trowel on the Block, strengthen our industry and help attract the workforce of the future.”

Remaining availability is down to just 25 of 70 spots, and billing and benefits do not start until 2024. The MAP has a dedicated website, masonryalliances.com, with full details on the program. The MAP will be the only way for active suppliers to remain involved in MCAA activities.

“Best Block is moving to the Gold Tier, which is a representation of their commitment to MCAA activities. By acting as the flagship sponsor of MCAA’s Fastest Trowel On The Block and now moving into the Gold level, our relationship only gets stronger,” said Jeff Buczkiewicz, MCAA President and CEO.

The Masonry Alliance Program is broken into four tiers: Cornerstone, Platinum, Gold, and Silver. This move by Best Block will allow a company on the waiting list for Silver to move into the program. As of this writing, there is availability at the other tiers. Items such as event attendance, advertising in MASONRY Magazine, sponsorships, content development, and more will no longer be available to any company outside of the 70 within this program.
