Weather Resistive Barriers Webinar

Words: Mason ContractorsThe Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) will present “Weather Resistive Barriers” on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM CDT.

Weather-resistive barriers, flashings, and drainage are the causes of some of the most frustrating (and expensive) masonry complaints in modern construction. Let’s face it, even a lawyer can recognize a leak! This presentation will review the current code and industry standards for weather-resistive barrier and flashing in masonry, with an emphasis on the quickly changing thin veneer market. We will discuss the most common waterproofing issues that we see in practice and how to deal with them properly.

Mason contractors registered for Masonry Certification will receive 1.00 credits in the Codes & Standards discipline upon completion of this course.

This webinar is free to all attendees. Register for “Weather Resistive Barriers” at www.masoncontractors.org/live.
