Milwaukee® Unveils Mobile Storage Units

Words: Katherine O'tooleFollowing the release of their widely popular 46” Steel Storage Chest and Cabinet, Milwaukee Tool continues to expand their Storage Solutions with the addition of two new steel storage units — a 60” Mobile Work Station and a 30” Steel Storage Chest and Cabinet.

Built for extreme productivity, the new storage solutions are the most durable and best equipped storage units on the market today.

Both new units are constructed of reinforced angle iron frame and 5” industrial casters for ultimate durability, and designed with the function and organization options that professional users need every day.

Exclusive to the 60” Mobile Work Station is a 22” multi-position metal peg wall, which provides a convenient place to store frequently used items. With an additional 11 drawers that include 100lb soft close slides and a center drawer with a moveable divider, the Work Station can support a weight capacity of 2,200 lbs. Every inch of the space is maximized with features such as a multi-position utility shelf that can be mounted at different heights on the side of the work station for convenient storage of bulk items, a quick-access tool holder that provides easy access to longer tools like screwdrivers and ratchets, and a one inch thick reversible hardwood top.

The new 30” Steel Storage Chest and Cabinet is designed with 12 drawers with 100lb soft close slides, independent locking drawers to keep valuables and personal goods secured while working, and a pull-out work surface for using and storing a laptop or documents. Under the Pneumatic lid, users can also store tools on the integrated metal peg wall, or upright directly on the work surface which has 9.5” of clearance from the lid when closed. The unit’s vertical, upright design makes it easy to move around the work space for more convenient access to needed tools.

Both units feature a power tool organizer to keep tools upright and a built-in power center for instant access to power.

Part of a growing line of storage solutions from Milwaukee, the new 60” Mobile Work Station and 30” Steel Storage Chest & Cabinet is available at select retailers. Dedicated to delivering advanced solutions to increase productivity, Milwaukee’s Storage category will continue to grow and offer innovative solutions for the trades.
