Milwaukee® Introduces a Jobsite Tech Bag

Words: Katherine O'tooleMilwaukee Tool continues to expand their Storage Solutions with the introduction of the Jobsite Tech Bag (48-22-8210), designed from the ground-up to address the needs of professionals who need a secure place to store and transport their tools, as well as their technology, while on the jobsite.

“Laptops and tablets are core tools for service technicians, MRO professionals, and tradesmen, and recently have been viewed just as necessary as a screwdriver or drill. Because technology plays such a major role on the jobsite, it’s vital to protect it. Today’s storage options lack both the durability and security to give users peace of mind, resulting in the need to carry additional briefcases and tool bags to the jobsite,” said Bobby Shaw, Vice President of Marketing for Milwaukee Tool. “Every facet of the Jobsite Tech Bag was designed specifically with the professional user in mind, providing them with an ideal solution for transporting their tools and tech gear together.”

Constructed of 1680D Ballistic Material and heavy-duty zippers for maximum durability, the Jobsite Tech Bag also features a hard molded base for up to 5X durability. A protected tech storage pocket provides a secure place to store laptops and tablets, shielding these valuable tools from jobsite hazards. For added protection, the bag comes equipped with an integrated rain fly, which wraps around and covers the laptop pocket and the main tool compartment to help protect all contents from water damage, and easily stores away in the bag when unneeded.

A fold-down front compartment reveals 53 pockets for easy storage of additional tools and equipment, while a dedicated puncture-resistant pocket provides a convenient storage area for sharp tools, such as jab saws, so they won’t cut up the interior of the bag. In addition, its padded, breathable shoulder strap provides ultimate comfort and jobsite performance for the user.

Part of a growing line of storage solutions from Milwaukee, the new Jobsite Tech Bag will be available at select retailers in May of 2016. Dedicated to delivering enhanced solutions to increase productivity, Milwaukee’s storage category will continue to grow and offer user-driven innovative solutions for the trades.
