Western Specialty Contractors promotes Geilmann

Words: Jennifer BaiceanuWestern Specialty Contractors (formerly Western Waterproofing Company) has promoted Clay Geilmann to branch manager of its Washington, D.C., branch. Family owned and operated for 100 years, Western Specialty Contractors specializes in masonry and concrete restoration, waterproofing and specialty roofing.

Geilmann began his career with Western in 2005 as a sales/project manager at the Salt Lake City branch. In 2011, he and his family relocated to Los Angeles, where he built his customer network and continued both internal and external training at Western’s Los Angeles branch office. In 2013, he was promoted to assistant manager of the Los Angeles branch.

“Over the past 10 years, Clay’s operational success and his diligence in building his base of knowledge has helped him prepare and earn the branch manager’s position,” said Jeff Kelley, president, Western Specialty Contractors.
