Milwaukee® introduces M12™ 7.8KP Thermal Imager with DUAL SENSE™ Pixels

Words: Katherine O'tooleMilwaukee Tool continues to expand its M12™ offering with the introduction of the new M12™ 7.8KP Thermal Imager, featuring the highest pixel density in its class and new DUAL SENSE™ pixel technology for superior definition of hot and cold details within the same image. Ideal for service professionals, the new Imager provides an affordable solution for predictive maintenance or troubleshooting applications, taking high-quality images that rival more expensive imagers on the market, in a more compact and easy-to-use design.

Designed from the ground-up with the professional tradesman in mind, the 7.8KP Thermal Imager gives users unmatched detail to view the quality of construction, inspect hard-to-evaluate systems, and understand the extent of damage instantly. Exclusive DUAL SENSE™ technology allows the Imager to individually optimize pixels to eliminate the blurring of hot and cold details in complex scenes. Equipped with 83:1 distance-to-spot performance, dual lasers, and hot/cold spot locators, users are able to quickly scan, target and capture temperature readings from long range or small areas.

As a complete problem-solving solution, the Imager is fully compatible with the simple and powerful Thermal Imager Report Software available online at www.milwaukeetool.com, which makes analyzing images and generating reports quick and easy. Users can easily download images from the Thermal Imager with the included 8GB SD card or Micro-USB connection port. Every image capture creates a versatile .PNG file format image that can be easily e-mailed for added convenience.

For unmatched durability on the jobsite, the entire unit can withstand a 6ft drop, and also comes with a protective cover which easily wraps around the LCD screen and front sensor to help withstand even the toughest jobsite conditions.
