Report of the MCAA Nominating Committee

Words: John Smith Jr.On December 30, 2015 the MCAA Nominating Committee met to review and recommend candidates for MCAA office for the 2016-2018 term of office. The Committee reviewed potential candidates for Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and nine Regional Vice Presidents. After careful review and consideration, the Nominating Committee is recommending the following for positions on the Board of the association:

Senior Officers

Chairman: Mike Sutter, Sutter Masonry, Arizona
Vice Chairman: Paul Odom, P and S Masonry,Texas
Treasurer: Paul Oldham, Ollier Masonry, Indiana
Secretary: Larry Vacala, Restore Masonry, Illinois

Regional Vice Presidents

Region A: Michael Schmerbeck, Back Brook Masonry, New Jersey
Region B: Gary Joyner, North Carolina
Region C: John Jacob, J. Construction Company, Ohio
Region D: Lynn Vasquez, MAV Masonry, Illinois
Region E: Rick Swanson, Swanson Masonry, Missouri
Region F: Robert Barnes, Dee Brown Inc, Texas
Region G: Glenn Hottmann, G&G Enterprises, Arizona
Region H: Dennis Withsosky, New Dimension Masonry, Inc., California
Region I: Jed Olafson, Johnston Construction, Inc., Washington

We whole heartily support this slate of qualified candidates for the Board of the Mason Contractors Association of America and recommend them to the membership of the association for adoption.
