Armatherm FRR Thermal Break Material and Washers

Armatherm
New Bedford, Ma.

Armatherm can help minimize building energy loss and improve building envelope performance. Thermal bridging through steel and concrete framing can have a significant impact on a building’s energy performance. Reducing heat flow within a building’s thermal envelope reduces energy consumption as well as potential condensation issues. Masonry wall tie-backs, shelf angles and lintels form significant, continuous thermal bridges and can reduce a wall’s R value by as much as 60 percent. Armatherm FRR thermal break material and washers significantly reduce energy lost from thermal bridging in shelf angle and lintel connections.

S740 Skid-Steer Loader Without Aftertreatment Technologies

Bobcat Company
West Fargo, N.D.

S740 Skid-Steer Loader Without Aftertreatment Technologies
S740 Skid-Steer Loader Without Aftertreatment Technologies
Bobcat Co. has released its first Tier 4-compliant 700 frame-size loader. The S740 is powered by an engine that is less than 75 horsepower and doesn’t require a diesel particulate filter (DPF), selective catalytic reduction or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). Bobcat S740 skid-steer loaders use a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) to meet Tier 4 emission standards, but without the need for a DPF. The DOC is a special catalyst that reacts with engine exhaust upon contact and transforms combustion byproducts into substances like water and carbon dioxide.
