Northwest Ohio Masonry & Stone, LLC, the exclusive provider of StoneCoat®

Words: Patrick Abou-chrouchNorthwest Ohio Masonry & Stone, LLC is the newest enterprise for Dave Boothe, long time business owner in northwest Ohio. With multiple years experience in masonry and business management, Dave has created Northwest Ohio Masonry & Stone, LLC to provide premier masonry and stone work for both residential and commercial sites. Northwest Ohio Masonry & Stone, LLC is also the exclusive provider of StoneCoat a revolutionary new hydraulic Limestone application system.

Northwest Ohio Masonry & Stone, LLC was established after Dave learned about a revolutionary and environmentally safe stone solution that has been a popular means of resurfacing and revitalizing walls in Europe for decades. StoneCoat a blend of hydraulic limestone and other natural materials, was recently introduced in the United States and is architecturally certified. StoneCoat is the first product of its kind that can be blown onto a surface, and then carved, shaped, and colored in a variety of ways to recreate the look of flagstone, limestone, brick, and slate. At only 6 lbs. per square foot, StoneCoat is lightweight, less restrictive, and less labor intensive than traditional brick and stone options. It can be customized to any look or style, including cast stone and door and window surrounds. The creative opportunities and versatile applications give StoneCoat the advantage over traditional cut stone, brick and other concrete veneers.

After learning about StoneCoat and studying the material, the application process, the longevity of the resulting stone surface, and the old-world artisan appeal, Dave gathered a group of experienced masons and installers together to create Northwest Ohio Masonry & Stone, LLC. Combined, Dave’s team has over 100 years of experience in masonry (brick and cement block) and stone (quarried and cut) work.

“I have spent over a year researching StoneCoat and the equipment, techniques, and artistry needed to achieve StoneCoat results,” states David Boothe, President of Northwest Ohio Masonry & Stone, LLC. “I am continually impressed with this revolutionary product and am excited to introduce it to the Midwest.”

As the exclusive dealer of StoneCoat in Ohio and southern Michigan, the team at Northwest Ohio Masonry & Stone, LLC is committed to partnering with builders, contractors, homeowners, and business owners to highlight, refinish, and restore new and existing buildings and homes. This team of installers will also be available for those needing the services of a traditional qualified masonry installer.
