Milwaukee® M18™ Right Angle Impact Drivers provide ultimate access

Words: Katherine O'tooleMilwaukee Tool continues to expand its M18™ LITHIUM-ION system with the introduction of the new M18™ 1/4” Hex Right Angle Impact Driver and 3/8” Right Angle Impact Wrench. Offering ultimate speed and control in hard to reach fastening applications, the new products feature a 1.7” head profile to deliver access to areas where a pistol-grip impact cannot reach, and are the only tools in the category to offer multiple speed/torque modes through proprietary 2-Mode Drive Control™.

Available models include a 3/8" Anvil with friction ring (2668) for fast, easy socket changes, as well as a 1/4” Hex Drive (2667) with 1” bit acceptance for tighter accessibility and a wider range of useable accessories.

Both models feature an extended paddle switch design to allow tradesmen to operate their tool from multiple grip points, and an 8-point rotating head for access from multiple angles. With the durability users have come to expect from Milwaukee, the new impacts offer advanced electronics through Milwaukee’s REDLINK™ INTELLIGENCE for optimized performance. This system provides advanced overload protection in abusive situations and improved temperature management to maximize tool life and protect the user’s investment.

Available in October 2014, the new tools are compatible with the entire M18™ System, now offering over 60 professional cordless solutions. Milwaukee® is committed to the ongoing development of this platform and will continue to provide innovative solutions that offer industry leading durability, performance and ergonomics.
