Words: Mason Contractors, Tim Toole
The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) will present Building Information Modeling for Masonry (BIM-M): A First Year Retrospective on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 10:00 AM CST.

In 2012, the masonry industries of the United States and Canada embarked upon a program to accelerate the use of building information modeling for masonry construction. In 2013, four BIM-M development projects were introduced regarding masonry units, software, masonry walls, and contractor education and input. This webinar will highlight some of the key successes on each of those projects.

The speakers will include lead consultant, Russell Gentry, and team members from Georgia Institute of Technology's Digital Building Laboratory and BIM-M project managers Jeff Elder of Interstate Brick, Jamie Davis of Ryan-Biggs Associates, Darrell McMillian of Masonry institute of St. Louis and Art Theusch of Collaborative Consulting Group.

Mason contractors registered for Masonry Certification will receive 1.00 credits in the Bidding Practices discipline upon completion of this course.
