Toro adds line of concrete and masonry equipment

Words: Dan KamysToro has added a line of specialized concrete and masonry equipment. Toro’s new line was developed through the company’s acquisition of products from Stone Construction Equipment Inc., and uses trusted designs and quality to offer concrete mixers, mortar mixers, power trowels, concrete vibrators, screeds and concrete working tools. These new products join Toro’s expanded product offerings to the construction and rental industries.

Toro has nine models of mortar mixers, with a batch capacity range of six to 12 cubic feet, to fit every mixing need. From the large, multi-point bag splitter to the drum latch that can be operated with a knee, Toro mortar mixers raise the bar for ease of use. The mortar mixer lineup offers both gas and electric models for any job. The Toro MMX mixer offers a heavy-duty design with patented features that create more paddle contact with the mortar for a faster, higher quality result.

The Toro MB-1600 Mud Buggy has a compact size and maneuverability that allow the operator to dump material in tough to reach areas. Its capacity holds up to 16 cubic feet of material and travels up to seven mph to increase productivity. The patented operator platform, featuring an oversized brake pedal and dual-action dump pedal that returns the tub to hauling position, improves safety and efficiency by allowing the operator to keep his hands on the operating bar.
