AN ARCHITECT is said to be a man who knows very little about a great deal and keeps knowing less and less about more and more until he knows practically nothing about everything. Whereas, on the other hand.
AN ENGINEER is a man who knows a great deal about very little and who goes along knowing more and more about less and less until finally he knows practically everything about nothing.
A CONTRACTOR starts out knowing practically everything about everything, but ends up knowing nothing about anything due to his association with architects and engineers.
A MASON CONTRACTOR starts out knowing nothing about nothing and never learns anything, as proved by the fact he continues to do business with architects, engineers and contractors.

Brick Building Wins Design Award
The Chicago architectural firm of Bernheim, Kahn & Lozano received an Award of Merit for its design of the Peer Bearing Co. building at 241 W. Palatine Rd., Wheeling. III. The award was one of several presented as part of the annual competition sponsored by the Illinois State Council of the Society of American Registered Architects.
According to John Wong, project designer, the design incorporates an articulated saw-tooth configuration around the general office and echoed again in the intervening courtyard with Japanese garden. To proportion the height of the warehouse, standard brick were used for the office area and utility size brick for the warehouse. The 50,000 sq. ft. building incorporates numerous energy conservation devices, including insulated cavity walls.
