Mark Sisto Of IW & G, Inc. Is The 2025 Masonry Wall Of Fame Recipient

Words: Dan Kamys

Mark Sisto, a dedicated and passionate mason with over 40 years of experience, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Masonry Wall of Fame Award. This esteemed award is developed and presented by the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) and the Brick Industry Association (BIA).

Mark's journey in masonry began in his teenage years, restoring homes and chimneys in Chicago's North Side, Gold Coast, and Northern suburbs. His career took a significant turn when he joined the bricklayers union, leading to his involvement in some of Chicago's most iconic landmarks, including City Hall and the Chicago Cultural Center. His craftsmanship is also evident in 90% of Chicago Public Schools and numerous award-winning projects recognized by the Illinois Indiana Masonry Advisory Council.

"Mark represents exactly what this award is about: celebrating the people who install masonry products on a daily basis. Mark's work will be a lasting legacy for everyone to appreciate for many years," said Jeff Buczkiewicz, MCAA President and CEO.

The award will be presented to Mark during the events of MASONRY MADNESS® Day in the Bronze Lot at the World of Concrete on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The MCAA and the BIA co-created this award to honor those who excel in the installation of masonry products, with plans to continue this tradition annually.
