MCAA to Develop Safety Compliance Videos

New member benefit

By

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is excited to announce the development of new safety compliance videos for members of the MCAA. Each video will feature critical safety elements for new employees to be aware of before they step foot on the job site.

The first three modules in the series will focus on:

  • OSHA's Rule on Crystalline Silica: Training on What You Need to Know
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Hazard Communication and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
The videos will be available online through the MCAA in both English and Spanish for members to access and utilize at no cost. Tests will also be available for employees to demonstrate they have viewed and retained information presented in the videos.

Additional modules will be developed over the next several years and will highlight a wide variety of topics. Companies will be able to use these videos to create an onboarding process for new hires, eliminating the need for the safety director to teach classes to new employees each time they are hired.

The first group of safety compliance videos will be available for free to members of the Mason Contractors Association of America in late-summer/early-fall 2019.

Please visit www.masoncontractors.org/safety or contact the MCAA at 800-536-2225 for more information.
