EZ Grout Corporation Transitions to EZG Manufacturing

Words: Abigail SweeneyEZ Grout Corporation has come a long way since the design of the Grout Hog. CEO Damian Lang started the EZ Grout equipment line to improve the efficiency on his own masonry job sites as he recognized the need for a better way to fill masonry block (wall grouting). While providing top-notch, user-friendly equipment, Lang has never lost sight of his dedication to helping contractors and manufacturers increase efficiency and profitability with products built from hands-on experience.

With the growth of the company, EZ Grout now has five separate divisions within the company: masonry/construction equipment, fencing equipment, cleaning equipment, precast/refractory equipment, and custom fabrication and design.

To align with company expansion and the increased variety of equipment EZ Grout manufactures, a name change was needed to incorporate all of the divisions under one inclusive umbrella.

“EZ Grout worked when we were just manufacturing masonry equipment. We have now grown so much that the word “grout” in EZ Grout really has nothing to do with some of our divisions,” CEO Damian Lang said.

With the realization that a change was needed, the EZ Grout team collaborated to come up with the new company name, EZG Manufacturing. This new name preserves the EZ Grout heritage while serving as an all-encompassing brand for every division and rebranding as EZG Manufacturing has begun.

“We understand rebranding will not happen overnight as everyone from customer to community is accustomed to the EZ Grout name. It will be a challenge for all of us to adjust to, but we felt this was the right time and the right approach,” Equipment Sales Manager Thad Skinner said.

EZG Manufacturing will maintain its famous hog logo and bright orange color for masonry and fence equipment. As part of the new EZG Manufacturing name, a new website has been launched housing all the divisions on one page. Customers can visit the new site at www.ezgmfg.com.

“We encourage our stakeholders to visit our new webpage, check out all our divisions, and learn about our entire business. We look forward to many more years of growth under the EZG Manufacturing brand and we appreciate our loyal customers and community support who make this growth possible,” Sales Manager Dorinda Byers said.

EZ Grout Corporation is still the legal name for the company and will be maintained in some cases, such as invoicing, but the D.B.A will be EZG Manufacturing.
