Pacific Coast Building Products elects retired VSP CEO to Board of Directors

Words: Elaine KeanePacific Coast Building Products, Inc. (PCBP), a family-owned leader in building materials, announced the election of Rob Lynch to the Board of Directors. Lynch joins members of the board Jim Thompson, Jim Anderson, Larry Solari, Walt Payne and Dave Lucchetti.

Rob Lynch recently retired as CEO of VSP Global also known as Vision Service Plan, a vision insurance, frame and optical lens design, manufacturing and software service company based in Rancho Cordova. Under his leadership, VSP became a global company through 30 acquisitions, grew from one business line to five, and increased revenue from $2.2 billion to $5 billion. VSP Global operates in 80 countries and employs approximately 6,000 employees.

“I am excited and honored to be joining the Pacific Coast Building Products family of companies Board of Directors. For 63 years, Pacific Coast has had an outstanding record of innovation and growth while continuing to support our customers, employees and the communities we serve and I am looking forward to assisting the company’s success in the years to come,” says Lynch.

“With his significant business experience, we are very pleased that Rob has joined our team,” says Dave Lucchetti, President and CEO of Pacific Coast Building Products. Lucchetti has steered the company through both prosperous times and economic downturns. The Rancho Cordova, CA, headquarters of PCBP is a holding company for 8 wholly-owned subsidiaries, overseeing 83 facilities in eleven western states and Canada, with over 3,000 employees.
