Train-the-Trainer: Aerial Work Platform

In this 4-hour trainer workshop, employers' attendees will receive a complete in-house qualification program and training on how to implement. Participants will be authorized to use these materials as in-house instructors to effectively train and evaluate their own employees on the rules and regulations for inspection and operation of Aerial Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts and Bucket Trucks as required by Federal OSHA.
1. Trained, test and evaluate all employees on the safe use of the Aerial Boom and Scissor Lifts in accordance with the federal law prior to operating one at work.
2. Retrain, retest and reevaluate employees involved in an accident, near miss or unsafe operations.
3. Cover fall protection requirements for Aerial Boom Lifts with their own employees.
4. Affirm that all employees who operate Aerial Boom and Scissor Lifts are qualified persons and they have been trained, passed a written exam and evaluated in their ability to operate the Aerial Boom and/or Scissor Lift safely and perform the operating tasks
