“Boys will be boys” is no longer an acceptable reaction to complaints of hazing, horseplay and name-calling. Same-sex harassment does not have to be based on sexual desire to be unlawful. In this webinar, we will discuss some of the emerging issues involving same-sex harassment as well as basics on how employers should handle these complaints in order to limit their liability. We will discuss:
- How same-sex harassment cases evolved;
- What an employee has to show in order to win;
- Examples of same-sex harassment cases that do not involve sexual desire;
- Construction Company cases where the employer messed up; and
- How employers can limit their liability.
