Project Description
The City of Pasadena (incorporated in 1928) has experienced dynamic growth requiring the police department to grow from one vehicle to a fleet of 240 and from four officers to approximately 260 officers and 78 civilians. The police station has changed from three offices to a three story 31,000 square foot building to the new 80,000+ square foot facility.
Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd. supplied and installed over 225,000 St. Joe brick, 150,000 regular weight concrete masonry units containing 570 cubic yards of grout and 1,430 pieces of cast stone (many of them having radiused faces). All perimeter CMU were heavily reinforced and grouted solid for security.
