Online Auction for Children of Fallen Patriots starts now
Support our heroes and bid on the Online Auction to benefit the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation
SPEC MIX®, Inc. and the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation along with the sponsors of the 2015 SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500® World Championship have set up this ONLINE AUCTION to raise much needed funds for the nearly 20,000 children left behind due to a parent serving in the U.S. Military that was killed in the line of duty or training.
Take advantage of this great opportunity to purchase, at great savings, the most innovative, top quality products in the masonry industry while supporting our military families that have suffered dearly. Please know that 100% of the funds raised will go to Fallen Patriots and cover the expenses of a child seeking a post-secondary/college education.
By providing college scholarships and long-term educational support to children of fallen patriots, we honor the lives of those who have sacrificed themselves for our country and we ensure the success of those they loved.
NOTE: The SPEC MIX organization and Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation have also set up the “Support Our Heroes” Pledge per Brick page on the foundation’s website for the masonry industry and SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 spectators to make donations. From start to finish, it’s estimated that the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 competitors will lay over 15,000 brick to build their walls. Based on a total brick count of 15,000, participants can make a pledge of any value starting as low as one penny ($0.01), which is then multiplied by 15,000 to determine the final dollar figure donated to the foundation. Therefore a one-cent pledge equals $150.00.
Live bidding of the ONLINE AUCTION begins at 9:00 AM Eastern/6:00 AM Pacific on Wednesday, January 28th and ends Wednesday, February 4th at 5:00 PM Eastern/2:00 PM Pacific.
