JLG Launches Aerial Work Platforms in Mexico

Words: Brad NelsonJLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK] and a leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, announced that the largest Caterpillar® dealer in Mexico with 45 branches will bring JLG aerial work platforms to its territory.

The JLG product launch with MADISA will begin with the purchase of 800S Boom Lifts, 1200SJP Boom Lifts, 3394 and 4394 RT Scissor Lifts, M600 Boom Lifts and 1930ES Scissor Lifts.

This JLG product launch marks the first time that MADISA has purchased aerial work platforms above 18.36m (60 ft). Most often used for large industrial facilities and for new construction in Mexico, aerial work platforms are safer and more efficient than relying on scaffolding and cranes. JLG aerial work platforms also offer exceptional reach, high capacity, versatile performance and easy maintenance.

“We decided to order these JLG products because we saw an opportunity to expand into another market and JLG will be the line that accomplishes that goal,” said MADISA Product Manager Ing. Leonel Martínez. “To meet our position as ’Easy to do Business With,’ we wanted to meet and exceed our customers‘ expectations, which in this case meant offering higher reaching lifts that could help our clients complete their projects in an efficient and safe manner.“

“The MADISA product launch is part of a growing campaign to bring JLG aerial products to Caterpillar dealers in Americas South,” said Global Marketing Communications Manager JLG Industries, Inc. Caterpillar Alliance Group Maye Houck. “And of course, we are looking forward to introducing these products to other regions as those opportunities arise.”

MADISA plans to hold several customer appreciation events throughout the year to introduce JLG aerial work platforms to its clients. For specific events and locations, visit www.madisa.com.
